MBI, Studio+ and NELSON Worldwide are advancing their partnership with the introduction of an endorsed brand, MBI, a NELSON Company.

The transition follows the strategic investment announced in July 2026 by Palm Beach Capital Fund VI, L.P. (“PBC”), through United Design Partners, Inc. (“UDP”). NELSON Worldwide, MBI Companies and Studio+ together form the foundation of UDP, an integrated national architecture and design services platform focused on expanding expertise, resources and geographic reach while preserving the strengths and identities of each firm.

The endorsed brand reflects the next stage of that collaboration. MBI will continue operating under the name clients and communities have known for decades, now paired with “a NELSON Company.” The approach maintains MBI’s established reputation, relationships and market presence while more clearly communicating its connection to a broader national organization.

“This partnership is about building on what has made MBI successful while creating new opportunities for our people and expanding the expertise and resources available to our clients,” said Eddie Jett, CEO of MBI Companies. “Becoming MBI, a NELSON Company reflects the strength of that partnership while allowing us to carry forward the relationships, reputation and culture we have built over more than 36 years.”

For clients, the transition will be seamless. MBI’s existing teams, points of contact, projects and commitments will remain in place. At the same time, clients will benefit from access to an expanded national network of professionals, specialized expertise and resources spanning architecture, design and engineering.

MBI brings extensive experience across industrial, healthcare, education, and civic markets throughout Tennessee and the Southeast. Combined with NELSON’s national presence and specialized practices and Studio+’s architectural expertise, the UDP platform creates new opportunities for collaboration across disciplines, markets and geographic regions.

The introduction of the endorsed brand represents the next visible step in the firms’ integration, with MBI Companies transitioning to MBI, a NELSON Company and Studio+ becoming Studio+, a NELSON Company. For MBI, the new identity strengthens its connection to NELSON and the broader national platform while retaining the MBI name and the client relationships that remain central to the firm.

Clients, partners and communities will begin seeing MBI, a NELSON Company incorporated into communications, digital platforms and branded materials as the transition moves forward.

Together, MBI, NELSON Worldwide and Studio+ will continue building on the strengths of their respective organizations while expanding the expertise, resources and opportunities available across the UDP platform.
