In celebration of Earth Day, RT Lodge proudly concluded a month-long initiative supporting local environmental stewardship. From April 2 through April 23, the Lodge donated 5% of proceeds from all new hotel and spa bookings to Keep Blount Beautiful, a nonprofit dedicated to preserving and enhancing the natural beauty of Blount County. This initiative reflects RT Lodge’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, conservation, and meaningful community partnerships. Nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, the Lodge has long embraced practices that honor its natural surroundings while offering guests a refined, immersive retreat experience.
At RT Lodge, hospitality and environmental responsibility go hand in hand. Supporting Keep Blount Beautiful is one way the Lodge invests directly in the community and landscapes that make this region so special.
“Being a part of the Blount County community, it is always an honor to be able to give back to an organization that honors the beauty of this special place where we have the pleasure to live, work and play,” said Beth, President of RT Lodge.
A formal donation presentation of $8,000 took place on Monday, April 27 at 2:00 PM at the Carriage House at RT Lodge, where representatives from both organizations gathered to celebrate the partnership and the collective impact of guests who participated in the initiative. This donation will be used toward student education and litter pickup.
